| j'en ai trouvé deux qui sont soit disant "traditionnels" ( Although they might not be the taverns that Estonian peasants of centuries past would recognise, the following places are decorated in a certain old-fashioned, down-home Estonian style that makes them popular with locals and interesting for tourists. ) : - Citation :

Since it's a little ways from the centre, not too many tourists find their way to this unusual pub that resembles a huge country lodge.
Those who make the trip however will find something unique. The English name, Traveller's Pub and Club, doesn't do much to explain that the pub is actually named after a collection of adventure stories found in practically every Estonian household. Menus here are fashioned like storybooks, and the maps and globes on the walls are here to help explorers find their way. ainsi que - Citation :

Lots of iron and wood is used in the décor, while wagon wheel chandeliers and other rural artifacts give it a homey feel. Beer here is a bit cheaper than in other Old Town bars, and there´s more variety available, even with regards to imported brands. Just as much a place to drink however, Karja Kelder is a good spot to enjoy a reasonably priced, hearty meal. | |
